If the rain measures 3.0 inches or less, we'll convene at one of our designated rainy day locations, which include Eaton Canyon Nature Center and Kids Space Museum. However, if the rainfall reaches 3.0 inches per hour or higher, we'll assess the conditions and determine if it's safe to proceed. In some cases, we may still gather at a rainy day location, while in others, we might need to cancel for safety reasons. Your child's well-being is our top priority.

To ensure your child has a great experience at forest school, please dress them in comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement and exploration. Sturdy, water-friendly shoes are essential, as we frequently encounter creeks and may need to cross them during our adventures. Additionally, your child should have a child-sized backpack, a leak-proof water bottle, and a nutritious meal and snacks to sustain them throughout the five-hour session. Lastly, it's a good idea to pack a complete change of clothes in case they need to freshen up during their time in the forest. These items will help make their forest school experience safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.

For the toddler class, no, they do not need to be potty trained. However, for the preschool class, it is preferable that they are either already potty trained or in the process of being potty trained. This helps ensure a smoother and more comfortable experience for both the child and the class.
